2012 Dividend Payment Schedule (Getting cash every month)

My investment aim is to build a dividend portfolio that is able to generate a regular and stable stream of passive income. Based on previous years' records, I will be receiving dividends for every month of 2012, assuming the payment dates remain the same and there is no dividend cut (fingers crossed).

Hey DW,

I didn't you can do that! Dividend payout every month ;)

At this rate you are going, you will be able to rival our CPF Life scheme and achieve it before 40!

No need to wait till 65 - now that's cool!

By the way, I've written how you have "inspired" me to allocate some of my funds to US and European equities - although I will go via the mutual fund route.

Cheers!

Hi D. Warrior

You have a great collection of dividend stream coming in especially with the telcos and the REITS and your hold forever mentality. And good job at going global too :)

Great job! Indeed, the economy seems like slowing down and dividends may cut as earnings drop.

Hi Alvin, Telcos and businesses in defensive industries usually won't cut their dividends much as their earnings usually don't change, or are locked down by contracts.

Not really. Bigger payouts in certain months, none in others. But overall it's more the amount which counts for me, rather than the timing. As long as I am disciplined, I can save the dividends when they come, regardless of timing; and reinvest where appropriate.
