December 2011 Dividend Payment Dates

Just a quick update:

1) AIMS AIMP REIT: 7 Dec
2) Johnson & Johnson: 13 Dec
3) Coca Cola: 15 Dec
4) SPH: 23 Dec

My first time receiving dividends from US stocks. Feeling a little excited. ^^
Slow and steady wins the race.

Peace Out,

Hi DW,

Yesterday, 29 Nov, was a big day for dividends for me. Today, I will receive dividend from LMIR. Like you, I will receive dividend on 7 Dec from AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT. :D

I do not have any US stocks. I was told that there is a 30% witholding tax for foreign investors. Do you know about this?

Hi AK,

29 Nov is indeed a big payment day for you. Tats great!^^

Yup. I know about the 30% tax.

However, I am investing for the long term. The consistent annual dividend growth will compound over the next few decades. To me, I can accept the 30% tax.

Anyway, I am oredi getting 6% - 7% yield from my Singapore portfolio. So, I dun mind having a lower yield on my Global portfolio.

If I combine both portfolios, my projected yield for 2012 will be around 5%. Still ok for me.

Hi DW,

Congrats on your passive income for this year!

I would like to seek your advise on your investment strategy on dividend stocks. Do you also consider XIRR/CAGR for your investment?

Cheers.
